Developed under the direction of Gibson’s Master Luthiers, Gibson Brite Wire Electric Bass Strings feature a hex-shaped, tinned steel core precision-wound with nickel-plated steel for durability and powerful tone. Compared to pure nickel strings, nickel-plated steel strings are not only louder with increased treble, but the ferromagnetic property of steel results in stronger interaction with modern bass pickups. Made for a wide range of styles, Gibson Brite Wire Electric Bass Strings are factory-spec in the Gibson USA facility.
